The ThuLight fiber laser treatment system utilizes a preferred 1940nm wavelength and advanced pulse train technology to combine lithotripsy with soft tissue vaporization, cutting, and coagulation. A dual-pedal operation allows for flexible switching between different operating modes, supporting a variety of surgical approaches and suiting surgeons of varying skill levels and experience.
This device combines hard and soft components to achieve in situ, contact, and pulverized lithotripsy. Equipped with a thinner, more flexible optical fiber, each laser is easy to operate. For soft tissue cutting, it offers precise cutting, rapid operation, umbrella-shaped hemostasis, intact pathology, and rapid recovery.
Laser energy is transmitted through water. The 1940nm wavelength is at the peak of the water absorption coefficient, twice that of solid-state thulium lasers and four times that of holmium lasers. Laser energy is more readily absorbed by water, resulting in faster soft tissue vaporization and cutting or lithotripsy.
